You can take a casual stroll along the 18.5-mile River Walk and enjoy the fantastic views or take a trip to historic Hoboken, Fort Lee or the Scenic Palisades. James J Braddock North Hudson Park is a 167-acre open space just down the street. With ball fields, tennis courts, a hand ball court, bike path, bocce ball courts, a lake for fishing, picnic areas and a football stadium, you're sure to stay as active, or relaxed, as you choose to be.
Exceptional Schools
The River Club is part of two school systems. Children from K-6 grade attend Eleanor Van Gelder Elementary School - the only school in Edgewater Public Schools. Students in grades 7-12 merge in to the Leonia Public Schools and attend Leonia Middle School and Leonia High School. In its 2008 Challenge Index, Newsweek/Washington Post ranked Leona High School in the top 30% of 1400 American high schools, putting it in 6th place in the state of New Jersey.
Continuing students can take advantage of nearby colleges in both New Jersey and New York, including the renowned Columbia University, just across the river.

Just a quick 10-minute ferry ride and you're in Manhattan, with all of NYC waiting to be explored. Take in a Broadway show, visit the incredible museums and art galleries, visit the historic and important sites or just spend an afternoon in Central Park.
